We already knew that Iwan Thomas and Kirsty Gallacher were in before they were announced on The One Show as the final celebrities, and ditto Gregg/Jennifer/Tim the year before, so with any luck we'll know the name of the last celeb before they're confirmed as well...

I am glad Rio 2016 is represented, and it's also going to be really interesting to have a contestant my age.

I don't like how the gap between the final reveal and launch seems to be getting longer each year though.

Adam Peaty the swimmer is 6ft 3. He could be a possibility too

To repeat myself yet again: including Judge Rinder, the male line-up only features one person older than their late thirties, and that is Ed Balls, who is 49. Together with the apparent female line-up (with Lesley the only person older than late forties), I would STRONGLY expect the last man to be in their fifties or older.

Also: if they had booked Greg Rutherford or someone of that calibre, I would expect him to get an announcement to himself, not be lumped together with two other reveals on The One Show.

II'm not wishing to start an argument, but why do you feel the need to guide everyone in the thread by your logic? Can't people be free to speculate?

I'm only trying to use logic to guess on who's likely to be in, and for all I know i'm completely wrong. Didn't mean to insult anyone or suggest they shouldn't speculate, apologies if I did.

Strictly Wikipedia page (not the most reliable, I know) says that Lesley Joseph was confirmed today. Probably false but thought it was worth putting here.
