There's a group of minor morons who insist on adding rubbish to the Strictly Wikipedia pages. Until yesterday evening the series 10 page claimed that Tulisa and Gary Barlow were guest judges in the final.

Will be interesting to see if she is in the show or not, looking at twitter she does not seem to have an official one and looking at the press the only consistent stuff about her is that BOAF are filming the Christmas Special abroad - if this has not been filmed yet, then surely this could rule her out?

We are fairly certain that Judge Rinder (38) is in. I still think Lesley is probably in despite one of our sources being called into question, and Angellica is too - what we've heard about which pros aren't getting celebs suggests it's 8 women and 7 men. That leaves one man, and the fact that they're being announced on The One Show with the other two would suggest that they're not a huge name like an Olympic gold medallist, and they must surely be in their 50s anyway. If Lesley isn't in then whoever is instead must also be in their 50s at least.

Ah, I assumed that was probably the case - seems like an odd thing to do though, just editing in a name for Strictly that's 95% certain. How very rebellious.

Don't quite get that logic if I'm honest. If it was an Olympian, the reveal would count as a double celebration - the Strictly reveal and an interview with them about Rio. Kills two birds with one stone in effect.

I wouldn't rule it out just because the Olympics don't officially close until tonight either - the only athletes still out there seem to be the ones who have only just competed. Everyone else seems to have left the minute the national anthem finished playing either to come home or, like Andy Murray/Chris Froome, other events.

Why would they lump an Olympian - probably one of the biggest names in their lineup - in with two other names? Surely they'd give them a reveal to themselves? That in conjunction with the dearth of older male names makes me fairly confident that our unknown man is not an Olympian.

I think we can do without an older guy this time. We've had enough rubbish male celebs over the past few years.

Logistically they not have been able to name them until now what with competing out in Rio etc, flying home. There's nothing to say it couldn't be an Olympian in my mind.

Don't forget, Claudia's announcement (late on a Saturday night) was hardly the best PR wise now was it? Not everything goes to plan.

They would not have a series where all of the men were under 50, and only one of the women wasn't. It simply would not happen.

It depends how long it takes to film the special, I imagine. Doesn't an episode only take a week or so to film? Surely even the Christmas special won't take much more than that? And if they do all Lesley's scenes in one solid block, then I suppose it might perhaps be possible for her to return to do Strictly.

The final 4 should be 3 men and a woman. There should be 8 men and 7 women in total. Lesley and Judge Rinder look certain. There should be a man over 50 maybe an actor and a young man possibly a Olympian or a boy bander but more likely a Olympian

The Radio Times have confirmed that it's two of the new pros who won't be getting partners. A source has said it's Neil and Chloe (it's somewhere on here and is a reliable source).

backstageone has said that it's Neil but hasn't said anything about Chloe, I don't think - though if the Radio Times is correct that it's 2 of the new pros who aren't getting partners (it doesn't seem to be an official confirmation in the Radio Times - they just quote a "source") then all signs point to her, as backstage one has said that Gorka, Katya, Oksana and AJ are looking likely to have partners. So if that's the case, it looks like 8 female celebs and 7 male celebs. If it's the other way around, then god knows!

Hmm. Katya, Gorka and Oksana were all announced in June.

AJ, Chloe and Neil were announced later, in July, even though we usually get the full pro line-up at once. Chloe and Neil are the two we think aren't going to be partnering celebs.

Does anyone else think it's possible that AJ was brought in specifically to partner Claudia once they'd booked her?

It seems a shame for Chloe not to get a partner if AJ is.

I think it's a shame for whoever doesn't BUT hopefully it's one of the new ones ie someone who signed up on that understanding - rather than someone being ditched (I REALLY hope it's not Giovanni!). I can see why it would be worth some of the newbies to sign up anyway, even without a partner this year - especially if they are guaranteed one next year.
