Round 1 Group 1 Results
1 = Jay Brown = 13.64%
2 = Shabnam Masood = 13.00%
3 = Martin Fowler = 12.88%
4 = Sharon Mitchell = 12.55%
5 = Patrick Trueman = 12.15%
6 = Honey Mitchell = 9.49%
7 = Alfie Moon = 9.15%
8 = Tina Carter = 6.67%
9 = Donna Yates = 6.33%
10 = Dennis Richman Jnr = 4.15%
So Jay manages to top the group here despite strong competition from both Shabnam and Martin who both lead at various points in the vote. Martin lead the vote after a prominent week on screen with Stacey's mental illness problems, however it was Jay's consistent vote which lead him to victory. Meanwhile last years winner Sharon finishes in 4th place of the vote trailing a little bit behind the top 3. Patrick claims 5th place and Honey manages to fend off Alfie for the sixth qualifying spot. Alfie actually had a decent showing and was on Honey's heals for a lot of the vote. Tina, Donna and Denny all never really challenged and are all eliminated from this years competition.
Just a not to say that the top 4 non qualifying characters will gain entrance to round 2... so Alfie could well be in with a shout dependent on the scores in other groups!

Voters simply have to rank the characters within each group (1 being favourite, 10 being least favourite) – you favourite will receive 10pts, 2nd place 9pts etc etc until 10th place will receive just 1 point.
After the voting period has finished (3 days) – the 6 characters with the most points will progress to the next round. The remaining 4 characters will be eliminated. A new Group will be posted after each 3 days containing the results of the previous group.
Voting will close Friday 29th Jan at 6pm
