As far as the 'Tiffany must go' thing, I totally agreed with John at the time, purely based on the fact that she was acting like a total hysterical loon and had I been in the house it would have freaked me out too (the rest of the house were upset/frightened/disgusted) and she did behave badly, so I would have been quite grateful to John for putting that sentiment over to her - but then we live a quiet life, well as quiet as life can be with a small cocker spaniel with an oversized personality!

In hindsight, which neither John or I had at the time she has been a most amusing housemate, so I was wrong - but at the time I would have held the door open for her.

No it was John I'm afraid. Daniella was quick to agree with him but he was the first to declare Tiff needed to go... I typed a transcript somewhere but I've never quite worked out how to search the forums (in fact I'm not sure the search thing works). Quite clearly remember typing that scene up though. Initially I thought he'd be ok
When him and Darren went off to the box he seemed nice, mature and decent.
At first he was sensible with Winstons views saying wtte , "I disagree but I accept that it is your opinion" BUT then he went into the DR and did a piece to camera that made me cringe.
He them proceed to continue in that style
He was awful to Tiffany when they wanted her out, instead of calming the situation he fanned it.
He was distant with DG knowing he was more popular than John
He lied when he nominated Darren for the most ridiculous reason
He then patronised Darren
He did his big grandstanding about Gemma making him cry when he didn't cry at his dad's funeral
He was the instigator of the knicker thing and behaved the worst of all of them
He lied to Tiffany about the knicker thing

He is insincere, a liar and bitchy. He isn't kind, he's arrogant and rude.

He is a big disappointment because he isn't as stupid or inexperienced as most of them and could be much much more.

John was airing an opinion, but I guess he's not allowed to do that now.

I didn't like him for a while after he lead the 'she has to leave' rubbish against Tiffany, though a few others were involved and semed to get off scot free...

Since then though, I really don't see why he is as hated as he is. Yes he was quite immature during the knickers thing, but everyone bar Jeremy was really. But the knicker thing can't be it, he has been hated for weeks now

Thank God for this forum - I would be very worried if John wasn't disliked by many on here as the forum is very often out of touch with the voters. Just look at Helen Wood as a prime example.

I don't hate him or any housemate.

I am not a fan of his because he led the charge of trying to get Tiff out of the house and led the charge of knicker-gate.

I didn't like how he told Gemma he wasn't sure if Tiff would stay nice....I don't care that much about what he actually said since it was just his opinion but that he seemed to say it to get someone to mistrust her or turn against her. He seemed malicious about it rather than doing it as a friendly warning to Gemma. He wanted to stir shit between them and set Gemma against Tiff. I usually don't mind pot stirring but it seemed malicious especially since she already hasn't been fitting in (which she says she is happy with it but I think that is just a defense mechanism/coping skill on her part).

Also John comes off as smug, self righteous, and acts like he thinks he is superior to others.....maybe he comes across that way to me because of his sneering expression (almost like a Billy Idol sneer which makes me want to hit him in the face).

I want him to stay in the house until the final night then be first out.

I am not a fan of John but he isn't boring, seems fairly intelligent and can be interesting and/or entertaining. I don't like it when it is at other peoples expense (him leading the charge against Tiff or Steph)

I dislike all three of them and John is noteworthy for being the leader of that horrible clique.

Strange, but I agree with everything you said* yet at the same time I dislike him and also agree with the lists that detail why he is disliked. I guess that is also why I want him to stay in the house until the final (but be the first one out on finale night).
