Serial killers: Silas, Lindsey, Cameron and Nico
Murderers: Mercedes, Trevor, Freddie and Theresa

I guess this sort of thing happens when the local police force is as incompetent as the one in Hollyoaks.

The show's a complete joke, it needs axing now.

No it doesn't.

All soaps have murderers.

I mean the show's a Joke in general and is no match for the big three

But no other soap has quite so many living in the same area at the same time

Thank you for that your majesty.

Someone needs to realise their opinion isn't the most important...

Don't think it has ever tried to be a match for the 'big three'. Hollyoaks has just always gone about its own thing and its own way for its small core audience. Hollyoaks is an established part of C4s scheduling and ad revenue, it ain't going anywhere soon. Hopefully, Bryan Kirkwood will call it a day when his GHK story ends and some fresh ideas will perk it up.

No problem

Hollyoaks is a very messed up poor mans Brookside, the show will hopefully be gone in 10 years time, I just hope it doesn't get anymore embarrasing.
Thinking about it, did Brookside ever sink as low as Hollyoaks in terms or stupid one dimensional storylines and character's?

Why are you so emotional and negative about a show you don't watch? Seems a bit odd!

It was compulsive viewing ....... during the days of Mr C.... Bombhead and Max and OB

it always had a quirky side ... but mainly comedy...... The show has no roots whatsoever

I always find this so weird and amusing. The rage people seem to have for Hollyoaks. I hate plenty of TV shows, I've even disliked Emmerdale for long periods in the past and found plenty to complain about. I can't ever remember getting so angry about it and calling for it to be axed though.
Hopefully it will be gone Zeus? Why? Its just so funny. "I need this show removed from existence because I find it to be so bad." Weird.

Explain who these one dimensional characters are and what these stupid one dimensional storylines are.

Otherwise you're just coming up with vague criticisms which hold no water.

I watch Hollyoaks and I used to love it but the decent characters are ignored and the crappey one note bad actors are shoved down our throats. The Roscoes are a prime example.

The Roscoes, i despise the family, at the moment the only interesting one in the show is Sillias, and yes he is also one dimensional as well, but the actor is better than the rest

I use to watch it every night from 2006-2011, and loved it, i watched a bit more when Brendan was in it, but ever since then and the return of Kirkwood it has dropped massively in credibility and quality, the show is in a poor state, and it shows by the over the top storylines and stunt's they have to have. I watch occasionally now, and struggle to watch then, as the direction the show has gone in is so dreadful and disastrous.

Doctor Browning.
To be fair, that could (or should) be considered self-defense. Since he'd strangled her to death then resuscitated her shortly before that, and all the other abuse he was putting her and other women through. If it had went to court they'd probably have used the battered woman defense. I don't think she'd have been prosecuted with murder.

Do we know who Trevor has killed? Or has it always just been off-screen, talked about and never shown? I can't even remember. I actually love Trevor, but shouldn't he still be in prison for attempted murder of a police officer and two others?

It is ridiculous. Silas being interested in the GHK and trying to track her down isn't that unusual for psychopaths though. Serial killers are normally really good profilers, they sometimes do this sort of thing - according to Criminal Minds, anyway. I don't think that's too far beyond the realm of possibility. I struggle with the GHK storyline in general, Sophie Austin is a good actress but since she was revealed as the killer its all got a bit 'hammy'. I wish they'd make more of the fact that she's a female serial killer and explore the different psychology behind why women kill.

It's a shame Nico's storyline is happening alongside this because it would actually be a great storyline if it wasn't for the fact that its just 'overkill' (pardon the pun) to have it at the moment. You can see why she's so messed up, and I think its generally been well-written. She's actually the only one who is even slightly scary as well.

The main problem is Cameron. Its just so unnecessary what they've done with his character. Its completely unbelievable to have him back living with the Lomax's after everything. There's really no justification for any of it. Its bullsh*t, frankly.

Trevor murdered Richie Trent, a police officer who tried to expose his illegal activities. He was one of Sinead's clients during her brief stint as a prostitute if I remember correctly.
