Tablet won't switch on
Hi all,
I charged my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition overnight. When I came to switch it on this morning I got the Samsung logo as usual, then it seemed to reboot, got the Samsung logo again, seemed to be rebooting again and that's the last I've seen of anything on the screen. So far I've tried holding the power key in for 10+ seconds, I've also tried doing a reset with power and volume up and also putting it back on charge Nothing works, it just doesn't come to life at all. Doesn't sound too good I know, but was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions? Thanks in advance. ETA: Pretty sure it's not a battery problem. When I took it off charge this morning the battery symbol (that's displayed if the tablet isn't on when taken off charge) showed 100% |

Well I've tried everything I can find on the net. Even had the back off (that took some doing) and disconnected the battery for a few minutes. After reconnecting and putting everything back it's still dead.
Think it's bye bye tablet

You could try holding the power button down for longer than 10 seconds. Try a minute or so. Sometimes I've had to hold down on the power button of Samsung devices for up to a minute to get them to reeboot.
You probably tried this already though. It's rather annoying that it's just died. It was working perfectly last night, then this morning it's 'had it' ![]() Any more suggestions gratefully received. |

I'm not sure about your model, but on my android tablet (motorola Xoom), if you hold down both volume buttons whilst pressing the power button, then it boots up into 'Safe Mode' where the third party apps are disabled.
So I would try pressing either and both volume buttons while booting, before you give up on it.
