She'll probably just go back TOWIE and keep up her appearances on random 'celeb' reality shows.

"I'm a Celebrity" should have been the end of her tv career, but it wasn't.

And according to the s̶p̶i̶n̶ reports in the ratings thread, the show's getting fantastically good ratings.

BB seems determined to keep her in, which also suggests she's seen as someone worth having on tv.

I can't think of any 'sleb' whose career was ended by a stint on CBB, except possibky Jo O'Meara. Granted her career was on the wane even before CBB but unlike Jade, Danielle and even that boyfriend of Jade's who all bounced back to a greater or lesser degree, in Jo's case the damage seemed to be irrevocable.

Other careers may not have improved much. There are plenty who had disappeared from the public eye, appeared on CBB and dissappeared back into the woodwork, But I can't think of any others whose careers were worsened by their CBB appearance.

I doubt it but I think she might take a temporary dip. She's not clever or funny enough to get away with it nor as outrageous as Katie Hopkins.

She's just very entertaining. I like her.”

How about George Galloway, as one who's career was worsened?

mmm .. not sure about that one? He made a total fool of himself but personally I think it upped his profile. There will always be those who support his political career, I'm not one of them but I get why others think that way.

I would have liked to think so......sadly I suspect we'll be seeing her face on TV for a wee while yet!
Although I have difficulty in trying to work out what she could offer! She has limited intelligence, isn't funny, has nothing much to say that too many people would be interested in listening to. She thinks February only has 21 says in it, FGS!

That didn't last long, it was scrapped after the 1st series.

Well its true he lost his seat 3 years later. But astonishingly he got re-elected in a new constituency 2 years later!

I am not sure I would lay all the blame at the door of CBB for helping bring down his career. In my opinion he doesn't need help.

Michael Barrymore had hopes of reigniting his career but suffered a mental breakdown in the house. He works part-time in a garden centre now.

I think you're right - I can't think of any that have actually had their careers cut short due to appalling behaviour in the CBB house.

I actually really liked her on 'I'm a Celebrity' and was disappointed she left early, she was hilarious with her not coping at all with the rules - BUT now I see that was because IAC would never make one celebrity their 'be-all-and-end-all' of the show and were never going to cave in to her demands (Thank God) - BB Producers take note - what happened to 'no-one is bigger than the show' ? - it seems on BB the Great and Wonderful GC is!

However now I see her in all her true colours I am glad she went!!

Where? I can't find anything about it in the Wikipedia article about him. The only election I can find him winning post-CBB is the Bradford West by-election in 2012. Is that the one you have in mind?

In any case, it looks like he was more successful as a politician before CBB than after.

I take Venetian's point that CBB may have raised his profile. It probably did make some people who didn't follow politics aware of him. But that may have largely been temporary, and it doesn't seem to have boosted his career.

I didn't say all the blame, and in any case we can't know for sure whether CBB has any of it. But it (well, being the cat, and wearing that leotard or whatever it was) did make him a figure of fun and ridicule in a way he wasn't before, and I think that probably did have some effect.

I am not totally au fait witht he dates particuarly of his CBB year. But iirc he was a serving MP for a London constituency when in the house - maybe Hackney? He lost that seat in 2010 when the colaition came along. He then fought a by election, as you say in Bradford West and staggeringly won. He lost the seat again at the last.

Where will he pop up next? If your MP is old or looks poorly be afraid ... be very afraid.

Yes.

Michael Barrymore was a fascinating character on his CBB stint [that of course does not make him a good HM]. I think Michael had high hopes that CBB would help him get back on track but too much damage had been done, and he had the "luck" to be in the same series as Pete Burns ..

I think I would stick my neck out and say that CBB does absolutely nothing for the careers of people who go into it.
Except for perhaps one or two reality TV professionals whose career merely consists of doing the rounds within the sphere of reality television.

If anyone has gone on to do further work in their career I'd say that it's probably despite BB and more to do with them just getting on with things and getting work off their own back.

TOWIE don't want her anymore, she had a disagreement with the Producers about how she was always being used to have arguments with people (according to her) and so the Producers announced at the end of the last series that she would no longer be included in the show. It happened after this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gwSumi3yopk (apologies as I have posted that clip before).
