Last night an alliance formed in the kitchen. Darren Day is still seething about the things John has said about him but Gemma’s got his back. She also burped in his face, but we think that’s just a sign of affection.

John nominated him face-to-face, Darren is annoyed. Fair enough. Completely understandable.
Darren keeps bringing it up and talking about it behind John's back. Fair enough I guess; I'd have done it to his face and cleared the air, especially if I'd made a big deal about doing exactly that and clearing the air, and accepting the person's apology, but we're all different.
Darren then gets his own back and does the same thing to John, nominating him to his face. John takes it like a champ. Darren still brings it up afterwards.
Years pass (bloody hell it feels like it anyway, and we're only seeing an hour or so of the house every day) and Darren is still banging on about it.

Honestly, for someone who treated people as badly as Darren Day used to treat people, if this is the worst thing someone has done to him he's gotten off very lightly.

Ahhh PnPing I used to love watching all that on live feed I remember Kat in bb9.... Saturday and Sunday were her PnPing days without fail right up till the end.

Two people every week would have broke her heart....

I'm gone off him too, had warmed a little bit but never entirely trusted him. He's Godawful dull to watch. There is nothing of interest to him now he's got to the end of his partying stories from the old days.

Darren seems to be driven entirely by his ego (huge but fragile) which is why Gemma was able to reel him in so easily. John does not pander to his ego, maybe this is why he is still banging the nom drum.

What we are reduced to now is trying to catch a glimpse of the HMs pictures on the wall in any vids that are posted after noms and before the announcement.

Maybe BB should start relaying some of the 'who said what' stuff into the house.

Actually I really hate that but ........that'd be a good one if the situation arises again.

I really like John - on the other hand I can see why others find him irritating. I don't see him as controlling or manipulative but he is decisive, assertive and very purposeful. I actually think his 'strong' attitude has stopped the house from descending into a complete and utter pig sty of doom and gloom.

I'm not getting the same vibe from John as the HMs. He stopped being a major character on the show in week 1, so maybe that's why? We aren't seeing anything about him. The last interesting thing was the "deal" made with Tiffany that we have no idea was actually about.

Oh and as for Darren? He takes himself much too seriously. I actually prefer Gemma to him. At least she's got an emotion out of me even if it is fury and rage
