Apart from all the usual answers, yes she is a cow, yes she is deluded, self opinionated, etc, what exactly is her current illness, she looks fine to me, even saw her in the kitchen last night on live feed, eating a sandwich, looked perfectly fine to me. Funny how she is all of a sudden ill now the detox time comes into play.

She has a phobia about being publicly embarrassed/shamed as a big girl imo. Anytime anything remotely concerning her weight/laziness kicks in then she's off on one and refuses point blank to take part. If she really was ok with her weight it wouldn't bother her. I'd feel a bit sorry for her if she didn't take so much delight in bullying less robust characters, she is merciless when she spies somebody's weakness.

I do think that's it. I think she probably had an image in her head of what the poo-inspector's 'detox' might involve (Gemma on a bed with a tube up her undercarriage closely followed by a camera and a sneering twitterfest) and thought 'no, I ain't 'aving that'.

As you say, it's hard to sympathise with her though because of her nasty nature.

She didn't sound like she had a sore throat or cold , she looked fine, but caked in layer upon layer of makeup hard to tell. She'd say anything so she didn't have to do a task.

Didn't she say the other day that she'd come on a period? I wouldn't be surprised if this was her reason for not wanting to be part of a detox. It sounds like the sort of thing she would use to get out of doing something.

David had strep throat and a fever, which I think stephanie might have due to her complaining of 'sweating' a lot and she was holding her throt a few days ago. She also looks ill in the photos uploaded today. So gemma might have a similar problem, though she certainly doesn't look very unwell......

Of course she isn't ill. The producers knew she would kick off if made to do the detox and they didn't want to scupper Gemma's chances of winning so they told her to pretend to be ill. They thought that as so many of them have been genuinely ill, we would believe it

I've had tonsillitis many Times so the fact that Gemma was scoffing her face with a cheese and cucumber sandwich last night suggests she does not have it.

What gets me is this not doing tasks. She knew before she went there tasks.
It's just so unfair that she gets away with everything, just to keep her in. The others don't.
Where is the fairness in that?

A sense of entitlement and willingness to do the square root of sod all do not count as an illness in my eyes.

Celebrity Big Brother Housemate has today been assessed as having a very serious illness following an exclusion from a task

Gemma Collins, who is currently staying in the country's most famous house, was last night told by Gillian Mckeith that she couldn't be selected fot the new task. This left viewers furious at how she is being treated better that other housemates.

Late last night Miss Collins' condition worsened and she was called to the diary room to be assessed by a doctor. This afternoon we can tell you that she was diagnosed with having a serious illness which is ofter known as Laziness.

Following this dreadful diagnosis Gemma has been advised to do more exercise and help around the house more, rather than lying in bed all day and having fellow housemates wait on her every need.

Producers of the Channel 5 show have also reportedly been to to allow Miss Collins immunity from the next eviction. This means the housemates participating in the current toxic task will instead face the chop.

A spokesperson for Big Brother, who also worked with Gemma on The Only Way Is Essex, had the following statement "Gemma is very much needed in the house to keep rating at a high. Without her there would be no series this year, she is our golden girl. We have been answering her every need. She has had her hair blow dried, and subsequently left a hairdresser needing therapy. She has walked out countless times and everytime we have offered a payrise to keep her in, which she has accepted. We just cannot lose the Queen of Essex and we will get her through this dreadful condition in apevery way we can."
