Sorry but I don't buy the moral logic that Steph is much worse than Jeremy just because she's the one in a relationship. Their just as bad and selfish as each other just for different reasons. They both pursued each other with the full knowledge it would hurt another person.
Jeremy doesn't get a free pass from me because he's a lad a poor wee lad who has no choice but to think react and decide on the basis of his private parts -the victim of a woman chasing him.
He had it explained to him fully many times why it's wrong by David, Scott etc but he adheres to this philosophy that if he feels something he must act on those feelings no matter who gets hurt because "he can't help how he feels" -a totally narcissistic and selfish mindset.
It's really not complicated both Steph and Jeremy are morally unpleasant and callous in their behaviour.
Heaping the majority of the blame and scorn on Steph is unfair.
If a woman pursues a man who's spoken for she's a homewrecker but males who do the same get far less scorn.
