So when she mentioned abuse and not being used to being treated properly it could have been in reference to her more recent relationship. I heard that Sam Reese was a complete 'knob' on the Channel 4 dating programme.

Steph has also dated Cristian from BB16 and left him because he didn't have much money.

This woman is unreal. She doesn't deserve love in my opinion if she doesn't know what she wants in her life. She's a mess.

She's almost worse than Danny from BB16 who dated Cami Li, Amy Childs, Stephanie Pratt and was always trying to hang around with reality stars.

We don't know this is true also I find it very strange it took her 5 days to come out with this on January 18th,
Sam tweeted his no longer supporting her on January 12th.
Chelsey didn't say anything for days but still tweeted about cbb.
Thats why it seems strange her waiting so many days before saying these accusations rather than right away when he said he was no longer supporting her.

Thats a old article from January the 18th
Purple.

If he was that controlling, surely he wouldn't have been supporting her decision to even go in the house with other men?

Well well ... thanks Salv

For "a 22 year old girl" she's certainly been round the block !

For her to fall for somebody in the house tells me straight away that not all was right in their relationship.

Now I can't know the truth and i would never excuse anybody controlling, and certainly not hitting their partner. There is never any excuse for that, no matter what the provocation.

But I will say that Steph didn't seem to see anything wrong with how she was with Jeremy in the early days and even her friends, when defending her have said things like "she's tactile and doesn't realise how it comes across".

So, if she is like that generally when out, i can imagine her boyfriend might feel concerned or jealous that even if she doesn't mean anything by it, a man she is with will think she is coming on to him and take it further.

Just a few nights ago she was telling everyone in the bedroom how much she loved Sam and how they were getting married and how good looking a guy he is, something just does not ring true at the moment. All this was when Jeremy was present in the room.

I'm not buying it. As a couple of others have said above, if he was really so controlling and abusive, she would not be cavorting with another man on national television. It's highly unlikely she would even be 'permitted' to appear in CBB.

Exactly. People who have been hit by their partners would be too scared and would do anything they could to never put a foot wrong in the hope that the partner would never hit them.

I have to say that i agree with this. Abuse victims are so terrified they don't 'play up' even when their Partner isn't around for fear of them finding out and the repercussions. No way would she have launched herself straight at another man on opening night.

Unless that is what all the "you've ruined my relstionship" has been about - scared not of being dumped but his anger.

It still doesn't reall ring true though.

Friends stopping contact because they don't like him or how he is treating her and her not realising why they are keeping their distance i find slightly more believable but if they were true friends, they'd talk to her about it.

Yesn she did date both the actors who played her significant love interests in Hollyoaks at the time the relationships were appearing on screen. I said this on another thread yesterday, she seems to me to be one of those people that will fall in love with any handsome man that she spends a lot of time in close proximity to, usually due to working together. There is a lot of it with actors as I understand it - the on screen love spills over and as soon as they on screen relationship ends, so does the off screen one.

The way to get out of an abusive relationship is to go public with witnesses.

Jeez she has an agent.Sam doesnt control her professional goings!

Normal I would agree, but she is the kind of person that would fall for anyone that shows the slightest bit of attention to her regardless of her current relationship status.

Sorry if this sounds harsh but Steph deserves to have the bad press though I bet Sam is wondering why he ever get in a relationship with her.

Agree. I bet if she met me or anyone my age (in the early 20s all the way to maybe early 30s), she'd fall in love (not tooting my own horn btw ), but I think that's true. She seems like one of those "oh that person will do", the person gives her some interest and automatically, wedding bells go off in head... until she seems someone else walking past her and say, "oh no, maybe he's the one!... or him!"

It doesn't matter. If you have not been in an abusive relationship you wouldn't know. Most people would be scared to do what she is doing behind closed doors if she was getting hit, never mind on TV. Why else do you see so many people who stay with their abusive husbands? (or wives, it goes both ways), because they are scared if they try and escape or tell someone, things would get worse.

It doesn't matter if they are locked away. If he was really abusive, he'd be waiting for her after she exits the house and God knows what someone would do. If he's abusive, what does she think will happen whilst she's in the house? Hope that an abusive story has come out and have him arrested and charged by the time she leaves the house in order for her to "walk free"?

This is just bull.

He should stop watching and talking to the press. After what he has seen why would he still be interested.Sam is much to blame as Stephanie,no need to excuse him.If Steph comfirms these allegations when she exits the house,it has worse implications than her cheating.

Well you're the one who started the thread about him being 'abusive and controlling'

Now we're having a debate about how abusive and controlling behaviour affects the victim and their own subsequent behaviour

is that OK with you ?
