You have to want to change to make changes

The whole premise of Gillian's trip into the house is totally flawed. I'm not anti someone getting help to change aspects of their life they are not happy with at all. BUT for it to work the recipient has to have identified themselves that they need to make changes and they have to have chosen the person they want to help them make those changes.

Chucking in some pseudo doctor who foists her emotive opinions about people based on no more than the producers instructions and watching edited highlights is not just destined to failure it is downright dangerous. The emotionally strong HMs can see it for the quackery that it is but those who are more vulnerable risk being forced to confront emotions and feelings that they are not equipped to deal with, all in view of the good old viewing public.

This just shows what a charlatan Gillian is as any professional person would have run a mile from this totally unethical sham. Even by Channel 5 BB standards this has to be a new low.

Yes, you do have to want to change.

None of Gillian's nonsense will make anybody change their ways. As for Gillian, she's no more a Doctor than I am.

It's a very dangerous road to go down I suspect for obvious reasons Daniella was unofficially exempt from this.

However it's a dangerous road subjecting the likes of Steph to this idiot

Of course it is. She is giving analysis to people who don't want it and unsolicited advice to people who didn't seek it.

BIB absolutely.

I agree. Although some of what Gillian says is probabaly true, if trite and stating the bleedin obvious, the whole idea of providing on the hoof therapy, on a TV show, with half hearted attention to the 'patient' is ridiculous.

I agree.

To make changes you have to want and be mentally ready for it. You need time to sort out the best way for yourself and don't start when under stress of something else. The way they are making them do it is set to fail and stress them even more.

They are taking the ones who are the most stressed and could be dangerous. They shouldn't do this type of task, it involves mental health.

I completely agree, it being a new low won't last though, tomorrows episode will go even lower. We will be seeing HM's give their **** to the woman.
