I hate when these celebs say "I just want to change the public perception of me"

It's all bullshit. I prefer them to be honest and say it's about the money or so that someone in showbiz will give me a job. It's nothing to do with the general public - just be honest.

Noone really gives a toss what real celebs are like. True celebs don't care what the public perception of them is.

I doubt if top actors/actresses or performers are worried about that because what we're buying is their talent - not the real them anyway.

Jesus no! Always enjoy your thoughts foxy but your way off this time I'm afraid

I unfortunately know loads of these buggers in my 'real life' and trust me, what 'the public' think of them is ALL that matters... What anybody thinks of them is ALL that matters!

Okay it's a sweeping generalisation, there probably are exceptions... And hopefully one day I'll meet one But generally speaking I do find it to be the case. They want to be liked, liked, liked, loved, liked and liked - it's their oxygen... way out infront of money or jobs. And unfortunately their perception of themselves is always massively out of synch with the real them (though of course that's probably true of 'non-celeb-plebs' too) which is where this misguided notion of "If only they could see the real me..." comes from whenever one of them has had bad press.

So when they say they want to 'change public perception' by going on a reality show... Yes, I'm afraid that's genuinely what they really want and think they're going to do... What they should probably do is change their own perceptions of themselves, but sadly that'll never happen... Hence why when their plans fail they always put it down to bad editing when they come out!

One of my favourite things when playing Big Brother bingo is when they come out the house to boo's, sit down with Emma and IMMEDIATELY say "It's been edited in such a way that... Etc. Etc." - despite the fact they've been out two minutes, have never seen any footage and have no way of knowing what's been shown and what hasn't!

I love it they announce that then proceed to display awful behaviour which makes their reputation even worse.
