Removing BT Phone Extension
I want to remove a BT phone extension, picture of the master socket ( I know its an old type. I'm not sure which wires to disconnect :

socket picture Can you confirm the wiring? It looks to me as though the blue with white stripes from the rear greyer cable goes to terminal 2 and the white with blue stripes from that cable goes to terminal 5. The front whiter cable seems to have the blue with white stripes on terminal 2 and the orange with white stripes on 5. If that is how it is actually wired it should be easy to work out which is the extension. Just take the front of the extension socket and see what colour wire is on terminals 2 and 5. just match them to the colours in the master. |
