If I'm outside my original contract do I still have to give 30 notice
I have a phone from Carphone Warehouse, the service provider is O2. My contract ended a couple of months ago but I hadn't got round to upgrading but still paying the same monthly amount for the same service.
I've now got a phone from another service provider but O2 say I have to give 30 days notice. Is this correct given I'm outside the original contract? Secondly I've asked for a PAC so I can transfer my number to the new phone. O2 say if I don't use it within 30 days it will expire and I'll have to ask for another PAC. So now I'm wondering, does that means if I use it within the next week will they still charge me for the remainder of the 30 days? |

You always give 30 days notice regardless. A PAC request is a request to move your number. It's valid for 30 days however when you use it you're charged for 30 days notice, minus the days from when the PAC was issued.
