I have stopped watching

I have stopped watching and I'm not lying, why would I? I still like to read and post on here a little bit as I have done for years.

Duncann - great post and very many good points. Wasn't Aaron's BB year CH5? Despite some annoying, even despicable HMs the Aaron win made it (with the whole two fingers up to the production team bias and BBOTS persecution of him) a classic for me Probably why it's more fixed year after year now though :/

Again, despite the theme, BB13 (? - Secrets and Lies) was thoroughly enjoyable for me. The bigger characters were strong enough to carry the show through the manipulation and not so much was necessary for a good show after all,

BB14 - Helen Wood's free pass from a woman who didn't even know her during the summer the football was on. Enough said!

BB15 - their last BB chance for me. Started so promisingly, was slowly brewing up nicely then...four in four out, losing a couple of the most promising HMs for no reason. The icing on the cake was that we got Helen Wood back again just as everyone wanted, hurrah! That was it for me and I voted for the only time in my life just so I had once in all my years of watching, to kick out that manipulative gangster's daughter, who of course went on to win.

CBB - the last one was entertaining enough for me. Decent(ish) cast on the whole. Mindless nonsense but worth watching I felt, enough natural interaction and friction. This one - they've broken the format completely imo. It's like when the 'Wizard' is revealed in the Wizard of Oz. Everything so blatant and extremely in your face with its TOWIE-ness.

Spot on.

I did the same when they changed Tinky Winky from that guy who used to lounge around naked in his dressing room. Whatever happened off screen, the new one just didn't have the same acting chops

I think you are absolutely spot on - and in fact that was the design from the beginning, to my mind. Social programming from the start imo. Just look at how much real Big Brother has come into force in the years since it started. If you look into the background of Endemol and some of the people there it starts to get quite interesting JUST IMHO Mind you - it's interesting how many posters I've seen actually come to the same conclusion as you this year on the forum.

That's when I stopped watching, I read what is happening on here. I did watch BOTS, but Rylan is so awful that silly walk / dance he does when he comes on and making it all about him I have stopped that too.

If steph went then it would hardly be worth watching. Gemma makes the main show unbearable and rylan makes Bots unbearable. The only, single, slightest thing of miniscule interest left for me would be in watching how tiff's gameplan plays out.

I was already flagging with Gemma operating under her own rules, Tiff's acting, Steph being humiliated and all the rest of it but then they put McKeith in and I completely lost interest.

I might watch the eviction tonight to see who goes though.
