What does it taste like?

It's sort of fruity, but it is tea and not an infusion.

It's also caffeine free and full of antioxidants. Very good for you but I'd say somewhat of an acquired taste.

I think it tastes a bit root beerish.

Just tried some. Very woody, like what I imagine a pine wardrobe would taste like if put through a wood chipper and brewed. Maybe I'll grow to like it.

I wasn't keen at first but have acquired a taste for it -I don't let it brew for too long. Find the taste oddly slightly sweeter than black tea but quite like it.

Same here, after seeing the thread went a bought a box of Redbush Tea Company Rooibos teabags and must say they have started to grow on me and are quite tasty, leave it in the mug for about 3 mins. Are there any other decent brands of Redbush teabags out there?

I absolutely detested it the first time I tasted it so I ended up with a box sitting in the cupboard.

Then I ran out of ordinary teabags, so decided I would have to use the redbush as I was desperate.

After the first few cups I began to think it wasn't so bad after all and now I really like it - so much so that I drink it at home in preference to 'ordinary' tea.

I currently have a box of Sainsbury's own brand and they are fine.

Lidl do a very cheap one. I can't comment on quality as it seems quite similar and I avoid the fancy versions - vanilla etc. It's a useful standby if you don't have any milk.
