The humax HDR-1100S PVR has 1TB of storage capacity, but finding your selected programs is not going to be easy to fill it.
EPG is fine if you want to see what is now and next, but if you want to see we will say what is on BBC ONE for the whole day you'll have to click your remote to the right so many times your neighbour next door will be banging on the wall.
Yes this is true just even if you want to see what is on in the next two clicks to the right will show you a mess of programs, these are not in order of times but it will make your eyes water.
You can find your selected program no program at all, but to find out what it will be showing for the whole day will be many clicks away.
Then you will have to click it all back to start again if you want to scroll down to the next block of channels and start the whole process again.
Why have they not given us one click on our favourite channel(once set up)to see the whole day of programs simple I think.
It is so simple that Virgin Media V+ box which I had for 11 years yes old technology you say, but they had this simple and effective way to view the whole channels programs for 24hrs.
Once your favourite channels was set in the V+ box then just click on fovourits see all them with very clear icons not like the Humax, one click over to the right and just scroll down and another click on a program to record.
This Humax you may love because you didn't know any better, but THEY did and did not give it to you, but now you know it could be better.
That is the only reason I hate it and would love to take it back to Curry's, it's frustrating because I can't find the programs I want with out clicking and more clicks to the right when if would have been so easy for them to make it easy for us.
