Are you for real!? This would be the most degrading and revolting thing to say to a daughter on live TV, irrelevant of what she has done, which is nothing apart from fancy some guy in the house. Or is this a windup, i am hoping it's the latter!

Am I for real?

Sir, I most certainly am..I was bought up to believe in the sanctity of marriage and the Ninth Commandment 'I shalt not covet thy neighbours wife'.

Exactly, who is going to tell their adult daughter "we're all ashamed and embarrassed by your behaviour" on TV? CBB is not the place for an intervention

Anyone......? please, I am mystified.

Of course no-one expected Steph's dad to denounce his daughter or be unspupportive, but he could have said how they all love her & can see how hard it is for her, but to keep her cool and try not to let it all get to her because they don't like to see her upset. And a kindly "do t forget the cameras are on you all the time love, so it's your chance to show everyone the Steph we love", that kind of thing.

She asked him a couple of times "shall I carry on being myself?". Don't know what she meant by that. She didn't ask how her dad or rest of family were.

I've never heard of it until now but I took it to mean talk sense to yourself. I'm sure some of the others have spoken about wobbling but they all seem in different contexts.

So glad it was her dad. Couldn't stand a call from the so called bf, or so called ex bf.

http://www.urbandictionary.com/defin...+head+a+wobble

Quote:
“give your head a wobble
A phrase that comes from Liverpool. to ask someone to re-think what they have said.

Can be exaggerated however needed. e.g give that big dirty head a good old wibble wobble.
"lets go to the library"
"haha, give your head a wobble!"”

The wobble thing is the same as giving yourself a good talking to.
I think Steph is such a paranoid android that any hint of not supporting her 100% would set her off, no matter how gently put. She wouldn't be able to stop herself second guessing what he meant. She cant take criticism at all and reacts very badly to it.

Exactly. Good grief there are some very harsh judgemental people on this forum. He didn't exactly have hours to sit down with her did he?
