That's not true and you know it.

The left wing has in the past decade or so been made up of sore losers who can't accept that the world doesn't love socialism, extreme man hating feminism (which has destroyed the roots upon which it was founded), minorities who don't want to integrate and actively hate our way of life, globalism, guilt ridden feelings because of something our ancestors may or may not have done...the list goes on.

The left wing as it stands is finished as a talking point and even something to consider. Sure they'll whine and complain for years but they're slowly becoming irrelevant and you can see them holding on for dear life it seems.

I crafted and considered my post very carelully and stand by every word of it.

Yours seems a ranting set of generalisations

Granted in the US election, I think everyone underestimated just how toxic and hated Hillary really is.”

Or maybe the majority of the US public are actually quite dumb and are easily led by a demagogue like Trump, perhaps? Just because the majority of people think a certain way doesn't make it true.

It's a measure of how divorced from reality you are that you have cast Trump in the role of the vanquisher of global socialism. Is that really how you saw Clinton? I'm fairly sure it isn't even how Trump saw Clinton!

He is only the 44th person.

Yep my mistake, just reading that it's because "Grover Cleveland is counted as both the 22nd and 24th President - he was elected, then lost, then won again four years later."

Interesting.

Grover Cleveland actually did win the majority of the votes in the 1888 election but lost out on the electoral votes.

Now if he had won that election he presumably would have won three in a row and been counted as one President.
