It's a ridiculous cat and mouse game to get the viewers to want them together instead of criticizing the rush for Ken to move on after Deirdre died. Personally, I find it tacky that Ken used Deirdre's death as an excuse to get rid of Nessa and now he's back to chasing after Audrey without a care.

Ken is better off with Audrey, and any excuse was ok, to bin that awful slob Nessie off.

Agreed. However I'd rather at least see Ken with a character like Audrey who's got a lot of history on the show than that tedious moron who'll be written out in five minutes and quickly forgotten.

But that's part of the manipulation to make you want Auds and Ken together - they wrote Nessa that way.

Exactly. Same with Kevin and his blonde girlfriend, the attempt to make her overbearing (even though she wasn't that bad) in order to make us think Anna is far more suitable. Apparently we were meant to laugh and root for Anna when she basically humiliated Kevin's date in the pub pretending to be pregnant to his child.

Is there a Sunday episode on Valentine's Day?

If there is, that's when they'll get together. Just call me Nostradamus.

Well Anna has got Phelan back now so Kevin will be history.

As someone of the same age as Audrey and Ken (but still being married after 54 years) I'd say that she's a bit scared of a new relationship. Apart from any other considerations, she hasn't had a husband for several years and is therefore totally independent and set in her ways, not having to consider someone else. It would mean a complete change to her life. I expect she's a bit scared that the change would be too much and thinks it might be better of they stayed as they are. On the other hand she does fancy him. It's not as easy to go into and out of a relationship for some older people as it would be if she was younger.

He hasn't got it any more - Brian wore it when he was staying with Ken and he didn't want it after that.

I just wish they would get on with it, enough of Audrey dithering.

The scene with both of them in the salon was very sweet, would be lovely to see both characters get some happiness.

If you are looking for a proper answer then it's cos she was embarrassed.... It amazes me how different generations watch a program like this and see things so differently

Yes exactly. She thought she was dying and now she's not she's gone a bit shy about it.
