Couscous with red onion, chick peas, courgette and red and orange pepper in a chilli, ginger, garlic, saffron broth, with new potato salad and mushroom tarts. Was supposed to be for a sunny bank holiday......

My wife and I enjoyed a nice Chinese delivered meal.

I had Chicken and Green Peppers with Black Bean Sauce and boiled rice and she had Chicken Satay and Fried Rice

Going to post on here to subscribe to this thread for some good ideas as to finding easy, healthy and original recipes.

Tonight I made a beef stroganoff for the first time. Diced beef (fried in butter and well seasoned); chopped onion and shallots; some sour cream, mustard and a dash of honey plus Worcestershire sauce. Serve with tagliatelle and veg. Oh my god, I was so proud - it was divine!
