Yes it has a similar taste to lamb but you can definitely taste the difference. No it's not 'strong' at all. It's beautiful when cooked for hours in a curry.

hottest two days of the year and what do I have? sausage casserole! made it yesterday to use up the odds of veg in the fridge and while its very tasty I think id prefer something salady.

I made a liver and bacon casserole yesterday with mash and green beans. Big mistake.
