Didn't have the pizza. Pizza place was shut. Had a chip sandwich instead!

Today is more chips (sort of sauteed potatoes), egg and asparagus

We are sort of fasting/dieting on Lent Wednesdays and Fridays this year - a family wedding coming up and a dress to be got into.
Home made soup and bread tonight.

Some fresh steamed hake with a salad of potatoes, celery, tomatoes, spinach. followed by frozen banana 'ice cream'.
I had a health check recently and my blood pressure was up so they are taking two more readings at 2 week intervals.
It's not perfect as I am having a mayo/oilive oil/mustard dressing and will be using some salt. But it's a start to a healthier diet. Don't want to be on bp tablets as have heard it is lifelong once you start.

Like how it's the pint you refer to as '"tasty" lol.

Good luck with it and a little of what you fancy does you good, in my book. My OH is on BP tablets (along with everything else) and it's not too bad (for reassurance) but you're right to try and swerve it, of course.

Tonight we're finally having the pizza. Mine will have mozzarella, halloumi, chilli, red onion, coriander. A bit different from usual.

Not sure yet. I'm undecided on if I'm going for a swim this evening. If so it will be a quick dinner tonight afterwards
