Viewing figures for last night

ITV1's Hell's Kitchen received its lowest rated show ever with only 2.8 million (15%) tuning in from 9.45pm-10.30pm.

You are kidding me, more people watched Scream if you want to get off, and that was axed!

Wow, that has to be one of the lowest rating ITV has ever had for that time slot!

I still like the show but I refuse to turn over to ITV2 extra portions with that appleton witch as a presenter.

I think the concept was good but they should've had a round the clock viewing system for use viewers because it was normal contestants. like BB

Lol. She's actually not on it that much, it's very much a MDS show with her doing the odd fashion bit...

I agree - even a few hours a day of live streaming would have been good.

I wonder if last nights escapades were an attempt to boost viewing figures for tonight?

In normal circumstances, I guess it would succeed, but with HK tonight going head to head with The Apprentice, I think it's a lost cause

Bloody hell, that's less than what "Celebrity Wrestling" got.

It looks like nobody cares about these contestants one bit, or who wins, or what happens.

I didn't think it was that great a format in the first series. I thought it was just watchable...just.

I still think it's no better, no worse, than the last series. But people obviously don't care anymore, and maybe the format has got boring after only one series.
I think people would have probably tired of it even if it had celebs in the kitchen and Gordon Ramsey still in it.

I think the format was only good for one series, and now the novelty has worn off.

Agree, AM. The programme's been okay, but does anyone REALLY care if Kellie wins, or if the Geordie wins, or if Gary Rhodes has another fit, or if JC throws out expletives? It'd be interesting to see how many votes have been cast.

what gets me is that people will ACTUALLY pay £1 to vote! (thru the phone bill)

although i like the show, i dont really care who wins, and certinly am not paying £1 to register my vote

i can think of better things i,d rather do with my £1!

I think many viewers are tiring of RTV.Are we being overdosed now and becoming desensitised to it all?

Yes, like cast 3 votes

Phone calls cost 30p (mobile costs may vary), and texts cost 25p plus the standard network charge

We'll see. The daddy of all RTV starts on May 27th. Lets see how many millions of votes that series gets and whether the new DS servers will handle the strain this time
