Quick question re sisal carpeting. (Mentioned earlier?)
How easy would it be to clean? (I need a neutral rug to cover a nasty carpet, but elderly cat seems to have an occasional 'sick-up problem )https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=si...ymG0m-6jgx0%3D |

How easy would it be to clean? (I need a neutral rug to cover a nasty carpet, but elderly cat seems to have an occasional 'sick-up problem )" To safely clean synthetic-fiber sisals, follow the manufacturer's directions, which may recommend hot-water extraction or a dry-cleaning method. Manufacturers of natural-fiber sisals suggest only a dry-cleaning method. Do not steam-clean or wet-shampoo; liquids or excessive dampness may cause these rugs to shrink or pucker." That does not bode well.... |

Oh thanks Socha!
No, it looks like that could be problematic! Shame, I really fancied one

Wow, thanks again!
I realise now that my reply about the sisal rug could have equally applied to 'a thread'

Don't think Frankie will be shaking in his boots, don't think Lucy is too big a threat.

I greatly prefer this new format and hope they keep it. I think it helps you to get to know the contestants, and their styles. I also like the judging of the presentation, surely it's important to sell your ideas to the client?
Anyonefortennis I did scream! Loudly enough to wake up the cat ![]() ![]() I thought Rob would go through as I assumed they'd take issue with Lucy's amateurish painting of the "flowers" |

Finally caught up to date with this new series as I had no idea it was on (I have a good excuse)
Slowly getting used to the new format but missing the reveal music. The dramatic music as we build up to the finished rooms is a bit much I thought. I don't know why but I seem to like every room, that is, apart from the one with the lamp owl. I would probably be the best home owner this show would have! I wonder if they'll ever consider visiting 2003 new build under brick, I heard that it was a classic vintage year.... Lovely builder is still here I see, sigh! |
