I would be nervous living so close to the river. Especially these days with all the recent flooding.
It's a gorgeous setting, but I don't think I could ever live there, I'd panic every time it rained heavily

You could sit on the balcony and watch your car floating down the river.

Hey I'm on telly ya. Let's wear a boob tube ya.

They had glasses of wine for sale in M&S today. The glass was covered with a foil seal so you could just take it away and drink it from the glass. I've seen it all now.

I'm not a fan of that putty colour, it looks weird with that yellow.

Yeah never quite understood that myself.. surely you'd just buy a bottle of wine and some plastic cups. But it must be fairly popular because they've had them on the shelves for a few years now at least. But thats M&S for you.

Really? I'd never seen them before. That's taking laziness to the extreme. Would be cheaper to buy plastic cups and a small bottle of wine like you said.

This show seems to be based around taking something that looks OK and making it look worse.

But maybe I'm not entering into the spirit of things.

Why did she paint it yellow and then put the putty colour over it?

That woman pulls the cloth through her sewing machine. It's the best way to cause skipped stitches (and break the needle). The feed dogs do the work for you, no pulling necessary.

£17,000 in 1967. I wonder how much they are worth now.

And in a few years if they are prone to flooding.
