Me too. Jamie should have won. She is biased about his age. His age should have nothing to do with it.

I didn't like any of Sarahs rooms

How on earth did she win with that yellow monstrosity?

I wishhhhh. I remembered the son was travelling abroad and one of the rooms was his. Couldn't remember which one though.

I personally preferred Jamie's work. Sarah seemed to be very in line with Daniel's preferences though.

I don't quite understand why Jaimie didn't win, they said he lacks maturity (design wise), but I think he's got it in spades. Seems like they had to think of some reason to choose one of them, as they were close (in their eyes).

I find it confusing that the genera.l public liked Jamie both on Twitter and here but the professional designers all favoured Sarah

Does anyone else fast forward that architecture history stuff that Tom Dyckhoff does to fill in?😊

I find some of that quite interesting, but my daughter always remarks 'here come the History of the Chelsea Bun bit.....' as we do exactly that when watching the equivalent section on Bake Off!

I actually made it through without peeking! (Friends over last night)

Just caught up and what a tough decision. Loved both rooms but that's nothing unusual from me.

Stencils, urgh, the worst part of Jamie's room.

Now to wait until next week

I like the historical bits, both on GIDC and GBBO, they add another dimension. I knew Sarah would win as she produces Dan the Man likes. I don't much care for "Super Sarah's" attitude, but neither her nor Jamie were ever going to win.
They are rerunning this on BBC2 in the morning and I caught a clip today of Frankie.......seems such a long time since he was on
I'm away for the next 2 weeks.... already having withdrawal symptoms

I like the history/architecture segment too.I preferred Jamie's room. Plus Sarah seems a big full of herself.

I like the history of architecture bits too!

It's one of the reasons I like creative programmes like this, in that there's a bit of factual, a lot of design, and a large chunk of craft/making. Right up my street! I wish there was more like this.

(Wonders idly when Sewing Bee is back on )

I felt for the judges actually, as I could see merit in both the final designs, but they were so different it was like comparing chalk and cheese. And I was sorry for Jamie, because I felt he did rather better in the previous two eps.

Looking forward to next week

I think Sewing Bee filmed/is filming later than last year's series. Hopefully they'll show it the weeks before the Bake Off, so I'll have a continuous run of this style of show for loads of weeks in a row.

It starts filming again at the end of this month - I saw some info about GBSB on the Croft Mill fabric site. There's a new judge - May Martin isn't doing this series.

Thanks all for the info re Sewing Bee.

I've looked at the Facebook and Twitter sites, and they were calling for entrants last Nov. but couldn't find much else.

(Hi back, Nesta !)

Edit: The new judge sounds interesting!

Anyway.........back to interiors...........can't wait!
