He was a mile ahead, Moroccan room was about as Moroccan as my big toe, Japanese room was a mess and the woodland room, what on earth did she spend her time on? The floor wasn't done, to me it looked like she'd painted it green, got the wood cut out, stuck a couple of butterflies on it and put a bird box on the wall There was so much she could have done, the very least painting the 'tree'.

Ikea used to do them in their 'Malm' range, but I've looked and not sure if they still do.

This thought occurred to me too. A lot depends on the luck of the draw as to which 'heat' you're in.

I think several eliminated contestants would have done better than this week's lot

I may be proved wrong tonight, but I'm going to have to watch on catch-up because I'm out tonight. Bah!

I was going to say Ikea do them until I read the post below

So far I've thought all the male designers should have gone through but they presumably would be accused of sexism by some.

The "naked" tree caused me jaw-drop when it came to the reveal. The room could have been a real stunner but no element was finished. The Japanese room, with its riot of pinkness, was a dreadful mishmash. And the mishmash wasn't finished, either. Both of those contestants suffered from Faffing Syndrome. The so-called Moroccan room was the wrong colour (and a fez and some lattice-work does not a souk make) (and the bedside lights might have been decorative, but they'd be impossible to read by). But at least the room was finished. And then the burnt orange creation: looked like a cross between a room in an impersonal hotel and a rather swanky hospital bedroom with the over-bed table.

I'd forgotten about this programme until, by chance, I flipped the channels at 7 last week. Very rarely is there is a room I'd like to live with, but it's compulsive viewing!

Evenin' I think someone is a chocaholic on this show. They are in Bournville tonight.

This lady reminds me of Vivienne Westwood. She's eccentric like her as well.

There's been a distinct lack of lovely builder this week

It's very easy to criticise Tali

I can't get over how people have such dirty houses knowing they are going to be on this show

I'm sitting in a chair like that right now. I hope he doesn't try to dye it black! (That one, not mine).

Even if you don't do it normally wouldn't you do it before this lot got there!

Perhaps they tell them to leave as-is, so the transformation looks better?

Absolutely. Craig just does things his way. He's not bothered what the client wants.
