What with Holly's rebellious streak and Frankie being overly cautious, Sharon could have been in with a real shout, if only she hadn't gone for that neon yellow. I really liked the first colour she was considering - just tangy enough to brighten up the place, rather than blind the owners! So tomorrow night is the last one of the week, where one will go through, then a fresh lot of designers from Monday to Wednesday, next week.

The blonde woman who dressed like a Dominatrix, and really shouldn't have, think she's been on Four Rooms as well - ahhhhh, can't remember what on earth it was called, but I do remember the living wall
![]() This one usually does have some decent designers in it, and I must confess I am a little fond of the male judge for some reason I can't really explain. I'm also fond of the lovely builder, for reasons I can fully explain ![]() Quote:
I'm racking my brains Jamie, because it sounds like something I should know about!
Stick with it though if you can because you do occasionally get a gem in amongst the mountain of MDF and chalk paint (which can seem criminal in - what did they say, a space that's £5,000 a square metre!) If nothing else it's brimming with ideas - not all of them bonkers! I do like when one good designer shines out and we can follow them and see what they come up with next. I hope they calm down the grey though this series, they had enough to cover, if not sink a battle ship! Ooh and I just found all the episodes are on YouTube. |

Hope Frankie wins this qualifier, I really don't like Holly's attitude, she doesn't the concept of a client having wants and needs, she thinks its all about her.
Sharon's paint was her undoing as was her upcycle, if she wanted to make it into a table top she'd need to have a glass top above the wood so the table would be level. While Sharon's paint was bad I feel Holly's homeowners will also paint their walls, that blue she kept pushing was too dark for my liking. And her putting the wallpaper in the photo frame was so passive aggressive. |

I'm really surprised that Sharon got the push instead of Holly ( bad, confrontational attitude) Surely she, as a designer ( or any type of salesperson) should have the knack of persuading the client that they have a need for what she's giving them. My husband was a salesman for 40years and he said it's all down to subtlety of delivery / presentation. Make the client think they thought of the idea you're presenting.Holly was like a bull in a china shop and unwilling to compromise. Having said that... Sharon's wall colour was horrific

Oooh I just contributed to the old thread for this show. Glad to see there's a new thread. I bet they'll pick the pretentious Taiwanese guy with the Nancy Lam specs.

I nearly missed it but luckily I was watching Eggheads and there was a trailer for this show returning. Frankie is hilarious. He has some very creative ideas.

Does it matter who wins the mood board challenge cause it looks like they are just carrying on as normal. Also, are they featuring the same people every night now?

Same people on for the whole week and one winner goes on to quarterfinals seems to be the way this year.

It's like Masterchef Tennis, with weekly heats I believe. |

I don't think Holly sees Frankie as any sort of a threat!
