Also if I was paying an interior designer I don't want them going around picking up stuff from skips and doing them up all the time.
Our local Pret a Manger has kitchen utensils as light fittings - wonder if she got her ideas over a cappucino and a BLT?

I don't think you are imagining it - in previous years there have always been a few rooms I've coveted; this year I don't think I've salivated over any of them!
