I'm genuinely interested in Orla Kiely, from what I have seen she has only designed one pattern, and it just varies in colour. I was at the Spring Fair at the NEC a couple of weeks ago, she had a stand and it was all that one pattern, just applied to different products.
Edit: I've just been on her website and didn't realise she made clothes, that pattern must just be a bit over exposed. It makes you think that's all she does.

Ann's method of doing fiddly bits, at the expense of the overall look, finally bit her in the bum. Right decision.

That's certainly my impression. There are lots of designers from the 50s and 60s that are far better imo( if they would re-produce them)
And after that it's Kelly Hoppen, queen of taupe!
(I like taupe btw!)

She just copies floral and geometric patterns from the 70's.
The standard is really low I don't think I've seen a room yet in this series that I actually like. There has been a bit too much ego from the designers in the heats wanting to do what they want as opposed to what the clients really wanted. Apart from Frankie the finalists are rather unlikable.
I still can't remember the blonde woman's name. The final will hopefully be Frankie and Sarah. I want Frankie to win but as the previous poster said, his personality has a lot to do with that. Daniel does seem determined for it to be Sarah though.
This programme has proved very educational for me - nothing to do with picking up interiors tips, but discovering that for years I've been mispronouncing Orla Kiely's name!

Same here! I've even started banning the family from the living room when it's on so I don't miss a single brush stroke or upholstry nail!
Lucy's lovely, but really does fly by the seat of her pants! I know the judges love the fact that Sara's not scared of colour, but for me Frankie has the edge. He's got a great eye for what works together and his rooms always look sumptuous. Going to miss this!
I'm glad Anne has gone. The room she did was dreadful and I can only guess that the homeowners liked it because they're bonkers!! Or maybe because the place has had a lick of paint and no longer smelled of 'dog' 🙊

You might not know the face, but you'll certainly recognise the print she's famous for - it's everywhere.

I think it's all down to owners doing up and making their rental properties light and airy to attract holiday makers to their place by the sea. A bit of a novelty for those of us who don't live by the coast. (and cheery on rainy days). Yet if you are lucky enough, wonderful! Absolutely no need for a blue and white model lighthouse nestling on a collection of shells, wrapped in netting! (unless you love them of course!)
