I would boot Lucy.
I'd still boot her, just for the bloody crying every time she finishes her room. |

She is, and she wants 'perfection' as she herself is. I believe she has just bought a new nose.

She went to the hairdresser and said "make me look like Barbra Streisand". So the hairdresser took the hair dryer and bashed her nose in.

I'm flummoxed as to where the increased budgets went tonight - particularly considering they couldn't buy expensive wallpaper or flooring. Surely Lucy's kitsch accessories/tat* couldn't have cost more than a fiver from Poundland?

I wouldn't want either of those women near my house.

I'd be shocked if Sarah doesn't win, while the orange was a lot her room at least had a luxe vibe. Lucy's looked so cheap and Frankie gave himself far too much to do with the mural. It drained all his attention.
That orange will need to be replaced on one or two of the walls, its just too much the whole way around. |

Sarah did well to source those lovely sofas on the internet and with their velvets and golds they formed a luxury focal point in the room. I agree about the walls though and wondered why she didn't just paint one of the walls gold rather than the loose panel up against it? |

I've had a feeling it would be Sarah. Every room she has done they have praised for her bold choice of colour. The judges like the idea that she believes she knows better than the home owners and basically bullies them (pushes them out of their comfort zone).
Personally, I don't think any of them achieved the brief last night. If they're going to be giving them extra tasks then they need more time to do a good job on the rooms. Oh and the budget is not that great - although I could do a brilliant job with £1500 obviously! |

They are having us on, aren't they? This is just a more upmarket version of Changing Rooms. A load of tat and arty farty, so-called designers. I look beyond what they have done and notice the short cuts and poor finish. Alright for light entertainment but I wouldn't let any of these people get near my house.

I didn't want Sarah to win her heats but it's been so bleeding obvious since then that Daniel loves her style. They completely ignored her lack of following the brief last night. It has spoiled this, my first series. I will watch very carefully next year. That's the problem with this sort of show, the judges can always make the rules bend to fit who they like best.

Really couldn't understand why he didn't prepare stencils for his room, they'd have given him the crisp lines required, and saved him loads of time - Frankie why, why, why

I was disappointed with all the outcomes really. All of them seemed so unsympathetic to the buildings themselves. And much as I love Frankie, that's twice where he hasn't understood a 'given style' (eg New England yesterday) But I will continue to really enjoy this prog. I want to see every detail (as Nesta said earlier(/waves ) and would happily watch more than an hour!) I'm almost ashamed that I'm looking forward to tantrums tonight, as my main reason for watching is for the designs.

I was thinking about last years competition, the room that stuck out to me was the art studio/guest room. They were in Cornwall I think, in a little fishing town. It was done in a lovely deep green with the artists work on the wall and a really cool studio set up. I loved that room and still remember it, i'm struggling to remember any of this years rooms, except Frankie's steam punk inspired one. |

Isn't it funny, maybe because I like to paint, but that's one I loved and remember too, Jenny. Were there paint brushes on the wall made into hooks or something? Also shelves with her paintings propped up against. The designer had really thought about what an artist would need in a working desk with a smaller table that pulled out and large thin drawers for paper, but it was white and effective against the stronger green.

Evenin'. Not sure I'm rooting for anyone to win tonight. Neither really excites me.
