Does anyone know why Dragon Den's Kelly (forgot her last name) is in the introduction to this programme, saying she wants perfection?

Do you think they go back in and finish the parts they didn't?

I doubt it. It's usually take it or leave it with these shows. |

![]() ![]() I found all the rooms a bit underwhelming, compared to what I thought they would be from the outset. The bohemian room wasn't very bohemian! I liked his chest of drawers make-over, but the suitcase idea has been done to death, and the overall effect of the room still looked bland. Bland too, the girl going for hotel chic, but I liked her A framed shelves. Wallpaper woman seemed to have achieved little else but, well, wallpaper! The lad's room didn't seem to carry through the theme throughout, but was concentrated down one end! I wonder if I'm missing something? Perhaps it's the 'photography? Saying all that, I still so enjoy this programme, so I look forward to tomorrow. |

Wasn't loving any of the looks this week, hope they pick up their game.
The builder who worked on the teenager's room making the "sexy desk" is pretty sexy himself, need more of him haha

I want to wake up tomorrow with even half of Lucy's energy levels!
She was certainly fearless and brimming with ideas. It seems a bit unfair though that the rooms are different sizes as obviously someone tackling a small attic room can't get a chance to show off as many skills.

To be fair, I though Angelica did stick pretty much to the brief, bland as it was, Rob 'I'm mad me and I can grown a beard' produced a surprisingly bland room that wasn't bohemian at all (just because you call it that, doesn't mean it is), and other woman's room had some horribly finished paint jobs. Hoping for better tonight. |

I wasn't really impressed with any of the rooms. I did like the wallpaper but I thought putting it on four walls was too much, and she didn't really do much else with the room apart from scatter a few bits around the place.
None of them did anything particularly amazing or creative with the old milk crate; in fact there wasn't really a huge amount of creativity on display at all last night. Hopefully they'll get into their stride tonight. |

Not really. That kind of wallpaper is actually quite fashionable again, but it has to be done properly to avoid that Aunty Brenda's front room look.

I always enjoy this programme, but.....I think the designers / presenters should also do the recycle - makeover and show us what they have done. I can't think of anything which would look nice being made from an old milk crate
![]() I only like the boy's room creator as she lives in Colchester, where I lived for 20yrs ![]() That wallpaper was way too much on 4 walls

I did think of something I saw last night that I might like to try!
The designer who did the boy's room, made her own area rug by joining bits of carpet with some sort of 'iron-on' carpet joining tape. I googled, and there are all sorts of joining/edging stuff available. (I once made a large rug using carpet sample squares, and I stitched and glued it. Gosh, it was hard work, and then it got ribena splashed all over it )

I wouldn't take Lucy's client on in a fight, can't see her holding back if she doesn't like it

It's a shame that sometimes, in order to get the most interesting rooms to make-over, the designers have to contend with the whining upper-middle classes. Hoping to get something fab for peanuts and moaning about it along the way.

She is very disorganised. I wouldn't allow her to paint a checkerboard design on that lovely floor.
