I couldn't stand Becki but I don't believe I have ever started a thread or got involved in a war of words about her in this forum or any other.
I just don't care about her enough. I would have thought that those that don't like Michelle might have better things to do with their time than to devote it to someone they hate so much.

Each to their own, I guess.

I would point out that I do not talk about Michelle non-stop every day, I occasionally reply to a thread that someone else has started as I do on other threads. As I have said before anna123, I do not hate Michelle, I just don't like her very much. The point of this forum is for people to start threads and for others to reply. We will never agree about Michelle but I am entitled to make a judgement on her just as you have done.

It is amazing they are still together-I guess if they have sex on TV to become famous they need to give it a go and they are still making money from the dumbarse magazines so why not stay together for a while.

Forum members have every right to post negative as well as positive views about BB contestants in a BB thread, unless the Mods on the site state otherwise. And I can't see Moderator next to your name

You make me laugh, sorry if i dislike someone like you sad people i wouldn't post in a thread about them. I really dislike jason and ahmed and i never post in a thread about them becauase i don't like them ,so i don't talk about them.

But don't you see that, in a discussion forum, if everyone only ever made positive posts, there would be no discussion? That would be a bit boring, would it not?

Yes it would, but it's also boring when people make the same point over and over again in every single thread that relates to a particular housemate.

For extreme examples take a (quick) look at the C4 website forums. They have seperate forums (not just threads) for each housemate and you get posters who will make literally hundreds of short negative posts about the same housemate without ever commenting on any other aspect of BB. Michelle suffered from this badly last year (her forum had twice as many posts as any other) and you had to scroll though a lot of junk to follow any meaningful discussion.

Wouldn't want to see this forum descend to that level.

Susann where have I stated that you or any one else shouldn't post in a thread or have I said people haven't got a right to post their views if you actually read what I've posted you'll find that I'm actually on about that I find it strange that people carry on saying they dislike someone and still afterall this time still post in threads about them,

I post about Michelle because this is a discussion forum. This is not your typical "I <3 Michelle - she iz lush" fan site. We discuss things (I'd like to think) in a rational, and adult manner. That's why even people who dislike Michelle/Cameron/Brian/Kate/Germaine or anyone who has been on BB, continue to post. Because this is a discussion forum, we discuss. Just because we may dislike someone, doesn't mean we shouldn't talk about them.

one point though you yourself from what I've read behave in the way you have described and I'll totally agree do post in such a manner but even you have to admit that some of the comments that some posters put in regards of Michelle and a few other housemates are totally out of order don't get me wrong I'm all for a good debate but when people say they hate a person just for being on a TV programme that isn't a rational or adult comment thats when I find it ridiculous also some of the names people call Michelle are not adult behaviour that is more like what a group of 10 year olds carry on like not as you say people carrying out an adult discussion, but once again that is my personnal opinion...

jacko12, I have never judged Michelle on the way that she looks, that isn't important to me, apart from now when she has had a boob job, I have never said that I hate her because I don't, I just do not like her overbearing personality and mememememe attitude. This is how I see Michelle, some people see her differently, I do 'stick up' for people that I like. I also find people's hero worship of Michelle really strange, I mean, this is the girl down the road for goodness sake, some people on this forum even went to see her in panto, I find that really sad. That's my opinion. Why would you care what people say about Michelle anyway? I'm sure she has heard it all before.

yellowlabbie have never said you have done that and to be quite honest if you remember yesterday in the other ongoing thread about Michelle stated that you have your opinions about her and I have mine I haven't got a problem with people disliking Michelle or any other ex housemate come to that as it is all subject to personnal taste as I've put earlier in this thread pretty soon the new series will begin who's to say that we wont like the same housemate. as for the point of why would I care what people say about Michelle read your own post, you yourself have put you stick up for people you like and if that is the case good for you, I'm not actually worried about people disliking Michelle it's some of the childish comments about her apperance..

I have to say, I sit in the 'not a fan of Michelle camp'. Boy, did she irritate me in the house last summer.

However, when all is said and done, I do appreciate the fact that she was a vital ingredient for the success of BB5 last year. Hat's off to her - look at the reaction she still creates a year later. The length of any threads mentioning her name and reaction to her one year on certainly maintain her status as a worthy BB housemate. Even though she ain't my cuppa tea.

To be fair ALL the BB5 HMs were vital ingredients to the show's success. they all had their big moments and lots of them. Scott lasted 9 weeks in BB4 and didn't have one!

Mr Freeze, I find your support for Michelle very surprising. I would have thought she represented every worst thing about 'chavs' that you slag off in nearly all your other posts.
