Iain Lee said his managers said they would defend him if he pushed the boundaries. I find that hard to believe, considering they didn't defend James Whale or Jon Gaunt when they pushed the boundaries.

Pushing boundaries and breaking laws are different things.

She later tweeted a picture of a bar, in Stamford Street SE1, 4 minutes walk from talksport towers.

Coincidence?

Well the pair have neither admitted or denied it despite plenty of opportunity to do so! That in itself, however, could be a wind-up. If Kath is producing, and able to chat at will, then Iain wouldn't be worried about having enough calls. When you put the two of them together, they can't stop chatting.

Charlie Wolf is on LBC at the moment and just mentioned a chat he was having with George Galloway the other day, perhaps they were at a Talkradio meeting or am I grasping at straws?!

Nick is going to be a bit EU intensive other the next few weeks, so Iain could benefit from that if his subjects are a bit more general like they were on LBC & Absolute.

I quite enjoy Galloway's logic. He invites racists and idiots and slowly unpicks them!

He seems to be on form already, and there seem to be a number of podcasts to follow before the big day.

I wonder if the retuning exercise he did was just for show and he deliberately talked over the bit that he was on. An amusing way of publicising the need to retune your radios.

He got Eagle 3 on his retune, meaning that he can pick up the Surrey-NSussex multiplex where he lives.

The TalkSport website now has 'Listen Live' for Talksport plus the new D2 stations (ie Talksport2 , TalkRadio & Virgin Radio) at the top of the home page with start dates for each of the above.

Still no internet stream.

talkSPORT 2 starts in 9 days but no stream for that either. When that stream starts that may indicate how many days before we can expect the talkRADIO stream. Or maybe the talkRADIO stream may start at the same time.

You aren't missing anything at the moment. It has been the same promo since last Sunday.

Just eager to get the stream address and try it out in Net Transport recording.

I've got the talksport already in Net Transport (not sure if it's changed) form when I used to record GG & Mike Medoza shows, from memory it was quite a long chain of characters and not that easy to decipher, there's a bit of a dark art when it comes to extracting stream addresses so I would want to try and guess one.
