There's no Listen Again for the first show on talkSPORT 2, despite it existing for Colin Murray on talkSPORT which ended at the same time. Maybe it will turn up later, but this may indicate no Listen Again for talkRADIO.
So hopefully this is something Mike and the team will be able to sort out sooner rather than later, and indeed the same Listen Again service we get for talkSPORT will be available for talkRADIO. I don't think they'd necessarily be a rights issue in making commentaries available on-demand after the event, as I know BBC Radio 5 Live and 5 Live Sports Extra have put commentaries on things like international cricket, tennis, golf, NFL matches and Major League Baseball onto the iPlayer on a regular basis in the past. talkSPORT regularly put their football commentaries onto Listen Again. So if there isn't a problem in doing that, I don't see why they'd be a problem in archiving talkSPORT 2 commentaries. |

TalkRADIO stream gives a promo: http://radio.talkradio.co.uk/stream
Stream 32 kbps is too low. Sounds like AM radio. Hope they increase the bitrate of it. If you want to hear the promo in better quality then you can use the Virgin stream: http://radio.virginradio.co.uk/stream I think the best we can hope for is a change to a different stream technology. |

I think it's ok and maybe even more accessible for people listening on TuneIn when in the car through 3G / 4G and playing through the car stereo through bluetooth.

DAB is still broadcasting the old promo, excluding Jon Holmes and Eamonn Holmes.

This stream is unlistenable for now, it's .mp3. When it's AAC it's much better than 32 kbps mp3 bitrate.

On the .mp3 32 kpbs stream you hear a lot of sideeffects, certainly with music parts in this current promo. With AAC it's a lot cleaner. The Virgin stream sounds better though.

Iain Lee recorded another podcast at TalkRadio this morning and they actually have a studio there now. He did a periscope as well, but seemed to cut it off part way through when I think his phone fell from wherever it was rested! https://www.periscope.tv/w/abk5FTcxN...Img-opOtQKlkEZ

I wonder if they'll put out any longer form audio on their test transmissions? The short loop is such a turn off. Wouldn't some sample programmes or longer pieces from some of the presenters help build up a bit of a following before launch?

http://pc.cd/RwLctalK The test transmissions were interrupted for about a day when that was on instead. |

The webstream now reflects what's going out on DAB.
