It's also sad too because the season sounded really good.

Thank you for the link. Yeah, I would have loved to have seen The Celestial Toymaker again.

Most of the Season 23 stories were done by Big Finish a few years back.

It made a pretty good set of Audios.

The Celestial Toymaker is the perfect foil for Colin Baker's Doctor.

Can some of the stories/ideas shown in the video be used in a future series, like Blackpool?

i think if they re- work the idea to fit the current doctor and Companion then sure after all wasn't DALEK an adaption of Jubilee?

The Lost Season stories on Big Finish are very engaging, not least because Colin Baker has to revert to the more argumentative 1985 version of the 6th Doctor. Its actually quite strange to listen to these productions because they are different to the standard Big Finish scripts - they were clearly written for 80s Doctor Who.

Indeed, though not nearly as good. It still made a brilliant episode though and I don't know why we haven't seen more episodes based on Big Finish stories.

And the human nature / family of blood two parter featuring Ten was adapted from a Seventh Doctor novel and it's one of the best stories of Ten's era.

Is it true that Age of Steel was inspired by Spare Parts? I heard that somewhere, but outside the core concept, they're don't seem that similar.
