I know she had rollers in but I'm 99.99999% certain she is wearing a wig.

Anyone else share my view?

Its a weave or possibly a wig...but its not her hair

Yes, that would take hours to straighten out every day.

Thanks.

I never thought of a weave.

Id never even thought about it till now.

She does always have beautiful glossy hair so possibly it is a wig.

Probably extensions or a weave.pretty commonplace these days and usually the better ones are very natural looking.wigs aint what they used to be .

I've seen her having a sly scratch so I'm guessing it's a weave.

Always though it was a wig. It's strange at the front just above her forehead . Not that I'm bothered .

She wears weaves. She was washing the long black one yesterday and exchanged it for a shorter weave with red tips (the one she wore on the series launch show).

I think I've heard her refer to her "weave". Black people don't naturally have straight hair. It takes a lot of effort to make it lie down like that.

They are wigs then, weaves are literally sewn into your own hair and are left in for weeks/months *shudders*

That's not necessarily true though. Black people can have straight hair naturally. Depends on genetics.

She is wearing a lace front wig

It may well be a weave but to all the people saying it's impossible for it to be her natural hair because she'd be spending hours straightening it - once you get African hair relaxed at a decent salon, straightening it isn't that much more difficult than straightening non-African hair, since only the regrowth will require more effort.

source: wife is Ethiopian. Got her hair relaxed late last year. Now straightening is a 15 minute job.

You don't neccessarly even have to relax it flat irons or hot comb will do too.

Every now and again she tugs it forward a notch. It's a wig and it looks fabulous with the red ends.

What name??

Because many do. I think she's wearing wigs. But from those photos her natural hair looks better in her.

I think she has pieces in to make it look thicker. Either that or she's just itchy and should wash more....

Blow dry it out then flat irons it shouldn't be too much of a problem but might not keep as long as a relaxer.

I guess its convenient to wear a weave and its more protective. Interested to see what her natural hair looks like now.
