Who would want to do most of the shite they make them do? Whenever it was something fun and not like sitting in a cage or hitting yourself with eggs, she did it

She was so unflustered it was a joy to behold.

The only good thing about gemma going is that it frees up votes for the HBIC”

Silly cow shouldn't have gone in the house.
Too lazy and vain to join in.

Good riddance to the supercilious heifer.

She has the humility to say she wouldn't have been a worthy winner. That is to her credit.

Gemma Collins is absolutely awful and a very deluded woman. Good for Emma for putting Gemma on the spot and asking her why she went into the house if she didn't like doing the tasks! Gemma was the worst housemate ever, lazing in bed and doing no tasks makes her a very bad housemate!

Is it an Essex/TOWIE thing? I think they think everybody's jealous of their really terrible dress sense, 1980's hairstyles and orange skin tone

No I think it was her agent that told her to say that, he would have told her how bad she had come across and I have a strange feeling she might have spoken to her agent when she last tried to break out with Daniella because she came back quieter and a different person after that. They probably told her she woukd never get work again on the outside on tv!

Well, you see, this is Big Brother - they do tasks to earn a food budget, challenge themselves and compete with each other. It also wins them other things and builds team spirit in some people.

However, this year BB decided not to punish them for not participating, so instead we had Gemma Collins ruining the whole bloody thing and getting away with it. It shows what BB would be like if we had a house full of selfish, self-absorbed narcissists.

Or 5-year-olds.

I agree, I think she was devastated and knowing that Steph got the most votes was a real kick in the teeth for her! The booing must have killed her because she kept saying how loved she was and went into cheers and come out to awful boos just like Julie Goodyear did, who also had a massive ego like Gemma!

Of course they are, it's team spirit and BB is all about playing as a team. To win a luxury budget and parties and to give the housemates something to do instead of being totally bored all the time!

Five year olds would be quite fun. They did a series on C4 (I think) last year where they filmed 4, 5 and 6 year olds at nursery school. It was a lot like BB in many respects.

At least we would know what to expect, and the kids would love those tasks!

it was very clear on bots that her "management" had words with her before she appeared on it to the point it was cringeworthy

Not doing the tasks coupled with her passive aggressive bullying did it for her in the end. I'm glad Emma challenged her.
