The Samsung - mainly because Sony's Android sets have had mixed feedback.

+1 for the Samsung, basically because my son has the 55" 6400 and I would be happy with how this set performs.

Have a good search online because you can get it a fair bit cheaper than £399.

Thanks for the advice, went for the Sony because John Lewis had a customer return for £320.

Well Sony are generally better than Samsung anyway, and considerably more reliable.

Just need a soundbar now budget £150.

Although the statistics are secret, of course, so that nobody can check them.

Which begs the question - why did the previous customer return it......???

There was more Samsung customer returns for sale than Sony.

But given the much greater volume of Samsung sales, not altogether surprising?
