Who should win - Terry or Kellie?

Kellie, she seems to be the only one who can work under pressure without cracking up.

Terry's gone as well as Stein?

If he hasn't gone, I hope he soon does, I don't like him at all, I find him very antagonistic and jealous when somebody else receives praise.

Kellie to win for me

I suppose Kellie. She does have that special needs look about her, but she does at least seem genuinely motivated to cook, rather than simply indulge her ego, unlike the Botox bombsite Sam.

Gary reminds me of the chef from South Park and just as laid-back. A nice chap, but not the sharpest cleaver in the knife rack.

The camp guy is far too much of a cardboard cutout and Terry makes Jimmy Nail seem like Bertie Wooster.

Dead heat between Terry and Kellie for me.

It is between Terry & Kellie for me but in the end I think that Terry would make a great go of his restaurant.

Kellie's comment on the wine summed her up for me and I would not like to see the wine list in her place (€4.99 frascati)!!

Aaah, I'm sure Kellie will be able to get her wine appreciation / knowledge up to scratch fairly quickly - you can't blame someone for not knowing about something they haven't been exposed to. Good wine doesn't have to be expensive either.

Agreed

£35 a bottle for cooking wine does seem a tad expensive to me too - or maybe that's JC's restaurant price rather than the cost

I like them both, but can't decide who to vote for.
I guess if you're voting for who is the best chef, then I'd be inclined to go for Terry. Whilst I don't particularly like GR, he does seem to run a better kitchen. We don't get to see too much of the blue team's food (other than the floppy marzipan trees) and we're constantly given shots of 'perfect' scallops, salmon etc from the reds, so I could be doing Kellie an injustice.
However, I do like Kellie, she certainly doesn't need the likes of Stein and Gary to stick up for her.

IMHO that's part of the problem, he has such tight control his team haven't been tested as individuals under great stress. They're all good as staff - but leadership ability?? Can't see that in Terry even if he is a good cook.

Very good point.

And if he hadn't closed his kitchen that night Terry & Sam would have had a chance to show how they cope under pressure.

As it is he's managed it all so tightly that they have been protected from both the stress and the exposure.

I can see what your getting at.
So by protecting them, is GR setting up the winner (if they're from his team) for instant restaurant failure? Now I think about it, even though the reds appear to produce the best dishes, the only person I can imagine being in charge of a kitchen is Kellie. Not that I can believe that 2 weeks with either of these chefs could make a successful restaurant owner, but surely GR can't be that scared of new competition already?

I dont think GR is protecting them, he's showing them how it's done. JC's team are acting like idiots because they havent been shown how to do it properly.

Different management styles. JC goes for laughs, co-operation and fun, GR is into control. Not JC's fault that most of his team were turkeys (uncooked).

Definitely not Terry after his little love-fest with H last night!
