All I Care About...

Is having a house full of normal people in the summer.

If its another year of screeching celebrity wannabes I am completely out. I haven't actually watched the standard Big Brother for years because the quality of housemates has just been so hideous.

So let's have a nice cross selection of nuns and different social classes and scientists and humanitarians.

I know I know it will never happen

Nuns

Come eviction night, you'd not be able to hear Emma over the Rattling of the Rosaries.

Well, we did have a former nun once before and she was one of the best housemates, in my view - intelligent, funny, and good-natured.

Oh wouldn't that be nice, and no more messing around with nominations or pandering to them make them earn treats not just hand them out to the chosen few. A good old style "back to basics" Big Brother would be such a refreshing change from all the usual "reality" TV drivel. Well we can dream can't we because I suspect the liklehood of that happening is very little to zero chance

Vaguely recall that one alright. An upated version should have Marcus replaced by 'God'..

"Sister Mary. You have been expelled from The Order. Please leave your garments on the floor, do not collect $200 and Go To Hell you Boring Biddy"

Much as I despise all things religious ? I'd watch it

I'm pretty sure Channel 5 did say they were going back to basics and then we got the most ridiculous series ever.

Why can't we just go back to being completely unscripted and having completely spontaneous nominations?

I am so tired of it being an extension of Geordie Shore or some such...

But the first 2 weeks of BB16 was pretty basic, ratings plummeted so they meddled and the ratings rose.

I read the opening ratings were highest yet for C5. But wasn't paying enough attention really.

Either way, manipulation of nominations is just sucky.
