My daughter was raised to be kind, considerate, mindful of others' feelings. To be hygienic, take care of her appearance and to be tidy. I've raised her to know, that however much I worship her, whilst she lived under my roof, she wasn't living in a hotel, and I wasn't there to merely walk around picking up her mess etc.

She's the kindest person you'd ever wish to meet. She's now studying for her Doctorate, she's a professional business woman and is highly successful, although she does still take a teddy to bed. Go figure lol

I wouldn't stand for untidiness on any account. I've raised her to a standard that I find acceptable. Mess my home up at your peril

I still take a teddy to bed. If I don't have it my arms get in the way.

My daughter can't stand my untidiness - she's 32 now. when she was five or six she asked me how she could move her wardrobe. When I asked why - she said 'I need to hoover behind it'.

I honestly don't know where that all came from - I'm clean, I'm 'tidy' but not OTT. It would make me a bit sad if I had a slovenly daughter like Steph - I can live in a bit of a mess but .......i question her personal hygiene - the clothes washing and crusty knickers make me ewwwww a bit.

Neither did she or indeed did I. But when you look at it from a police point f view you realise that in practical terms they are a bit stumped even if sympathetic. They can't arrest her unless she has committed an offence. You can't legally imprison someone either which is what it would take if they are really determined not to live at home.

And this wasn't a troubled home or anything like that. The daughter was a very bright young woman, high achiever at school etc. But she went through a rebellious streak. It all came alright int he end though.

You can want what you like, the voting nutters will determine how those chips fall. Surely you don't vote?

if Steph and Scotty go I do hope he starts "grafting" her and she gets "horny" and then they can both text jez and Megan

I watched the first 20 secs then cut it off. I would find it unbearable living with her she's so annoying at times. What's the point of talking to a picture like that?!?!

Bless. It must have been tempting to capitalise on that.

I honestly don't know where that all came from - I'm clean, I'm 'tidy' but not OTT. It would make me a bit sad if I had a lovenly daughter like Steph - I can live in a bit of a mess but .......i question her personal hygiene - the clothes washing and crusty knickers make me ewwwww a bit.”

She's extreme, walking around in Darren's pyjama's with dirty hair because she can't be bothered to have a bath and chucking stuff about.

This with her carefully applied (probably several layers) of makeup on, and on the flamin' TELLY for goodness' sake.

I have to say I would tear my HAIR out, if she was mine. And mine is no great shakes in the tidy department.

In fact I've had 'words' on many occasions, including throwing her washing at her piece by piece accompanied dramatically by the warning that if she did this in a shared house they would loathe her and think she was a -

sssssssssssssSSSSSSLUUUUUUUUUUUUT.

And she got over herself.

And beat my best rug in the old fashioned way when she was home last, as it was terrible because my back means I find hoovering bloody difficult.

Hmmmm, I couldn't cope with that to be honest.

Oh, bless your daughter, that's made me chuckle.

My house is tidy but still looks lived in. I don't freak if books or whatever are left laying around, but dirty clothes would have me turning into a monster at the drop of a hat.

My daughter has trained her husband very well. He knows 'the look' he gets if he leaves stuff laying around LOL!

Not much of a solution though is it. My colleague wanted her to be back at home not in an institution.
