When they broke in to applause at her distress I laughed, and thought they were very in tune us BB fans lol

I bet it was the mistake of the person who holds cards up to instruct the audience when to clap or cheer or whatnot. Wasn't paying attention, held up applause card because it was Gemma doing something, then when it was too late suddenly thought "Oh shit, wait, This isn't a clapping situation at all is it?".

I can actually hear her saying that - "Oi ain't DOIN' IT, *Anton!!"

(*assumes Anton as the hapless unfortunate who'd end up with her, should Strictly ever get desperate and Ms Gemma Collins was to (un)grace the ballroom floor.)

Apparently she did do the tasks, Ya know wot it is, she's from essex and we only see one hour .... I can't believe she tried to pretend she did the tasks! Something had to give.

As for the applause when she cried - the audience were in awe, they've watched her fake crying on CBB for weeks and finally thought they were getting to see her perform in the flesh.

I thought that was interesting as well. It suggests - to me - that she realised, once she'd gotten out and talked to her 'people', that her bullshit had failed to hit the spot.

We already know how incapable she is of taking criticism so BOTS would have been too much of a risk for her. Random anodyne daytime crapshows she could rely on to be relatively gentle with her, yes, BOTS and a panel and an audience that wasn't filled with TOWIE sycophants, a big no.

Essentially, for all her 'It's all good, I don't take anything serious' bullshit, she's full of it. But we knew that.

As stated, she's not cut out for taking criticism even if its completely lighthearted. It does indeed seem that she is a one trick pony and relies on a script.

She is every bit a Diva for sure, but the problem is usually a Diva has a redeeming talent which is why they are able to place themselves on a pedastal. Gemma however is a product of a society that places nobodies on that pedestal so we get all the demands and tantrums, but nothing back in exchange for them! What a mess, I'm sure she won't be the last.

I didn't see it as I was at work but I saw photos of her pretending to cry.

There were no tears from what I could see and she had a little smirk on her face.

She's 35 and only been seeing him for 3 months. She should be happy she found out what he's like, show some dignity and move on

What I think is amazing is that the producers of these shows seem totally unaware of how much she is detested by the viewers- who never want to see her again for the rest of their lives👹👹👹!!!
