Kate Lawler on TV again in May
Elderflower
27-04-2005
Flicking through the May edition of Sky mag I saw this (so sorry no link available) on 'not mine but somebody's' Katie

Make a date with Kate
If ever there was an incentive for the brave new contestants entering the Big Brother house this month to impress the public, it's the longevity of Kate Lawler's post-Big Bro TV career. Kate, who turns 25 this month, co-presents the new celeb-packed show What Women Really Want almost three years after she won the 2002 series.

What Women Really Want, Sat 21st & Sun 22nd (May) 8.00p.m. UKTV Style.

That's OK, swing. She's not a proper presenter.

Or 'a bloke in a dress', as Oliver Skeete called her last week on TV.

Well done, Katie.

You have to be charismatic to ensure longevity.

I haven't seen Alex Sibley on TV for some years now.

Wasn't he supposed to be doing the BB panto with his Mrs? Then he was in that fatal car crash that we haven't heard anything more about.

Surely, Alex, who once said he wanted to 'distanced himself from BB' would never have agreed to be in the BB panto??

I would have thought his fans would have let everyone know he's been cleared of responsibility by now.It has been 6 months -if it was cut and dried surely it's done now.Maybe he'll do a BB6 column and tell everyone about it.

Actually, most of the forum do know and have known for several months (whether they are fans of his or not) that Alex obviously had to undergo a police investigation and was subsequently cleared of all responsibility and what happened was a tragic accident. I think you'll find most of us do not harp on and on about it out of respect for all those involved, the pedestrian and his family aswell as Alex and his.

Glad to hear it's been resolved.

He has disappeared. His fansite has no news. His diary of events is empty. Even his 'angels' have given up.

Well done Kate - the winner (proven). I shall 'make a date'.

Nobody has given up..and its not a question of winners and loosers...somethings unfortunately go beyond BB and have wider implications than any TV game show

Alex for the moment is choosing to be private..and we respect that choice.

With regards to the tragic accident ..Alex has been cleared of all blame...but as Elderflower pointed out, most of us do not harp on and on about it out of respect for all those involved, the pedestrian and his family aswell as Alex and his.

Oh, I forgot to mention this earlier in the week but katie was on the Simon Mayo show on radio 5 one afternoon.

it was the TV review section.

She plugged 'Celeb Wress' and said Dr Who was a load of crap...........

The only actual quote I remember is 'What's a dalek ?'

They also asked what her advice would be to the BB6ers and she said 'to keep your job open'

I refuse to watch anything with that awful girl involved.

I enjoy watching BB, but after it's over I really don't want to see any of the contestants on my tv again (apart from the occassional 'what happened to...' program). Makes it even worse when they're loud, obnoxious, arrogant people like Kate Lawler.
