Cant get `Ginger Nut' `Biscuits at shops

where have they all gone. `None in tesco or asda , even the cheaper brands.
is there a great ginger shortage `!
i love my ginger nuts or ginger snaps which they should be called`!

See other McVities thread on here or one on general. Factory in Carlisle got flooded. Some other biscuits also not available.

I had a rant in Asda. There custard creams are the nicest I have ever tried. They are over run with Hills brand. They are shocking lol. The Twitter guys explained the water logged crawfords factory that has been out of action for 7 weeks now

Anyone feeling smug because they've been eating Aldi's South African-made ginger nuts whilst the UK-made brands have disappeared from shelves due to floods may be a bit disappointed to learn Aldi are recalling them due to contamination with what I can only assume is rat and mice piss:
