Grrr.....what an absolute hatchet job this last couple of episodes. Tonight was absolutely diabolical in comparison to how easy the others' edit and grilling was from the panel. Absolute stitch up.

I don't understand what they have to gain from it. Do they think more people will watch if John gets booed?
Totally agree. I've hated all the manipulation for a long time now but they've taken it to a new level tonight.
I'd be surprised if any 'celebrities' want to take part next year. The hatchet job for some and favouritism for others is on another level.

They so clearly want John first out tomorrow.
The only thing I can think of is that they were aware that Johnny was gaining momentum over the last two weeks but the last few days have done a hatchet job on him because they don't want him anywhere near the top3.
Looks like they're going to get what they want.
The poor guy is going to come out to boos tomorrow.

I watched the earlier show that was on at 8pm. I'm also basing it on the last couple of eps.....I've just caught up all at once.
only thing I can think of is that is John is doing well in the voting & he's a threat to the Producers favourite

They should just name it Reality TV Big Brother. That's what it's boiled down to now. The producers have absolutely no respect for any real celebs on this show. It's a disgrace.

There's nothing wrong with his real personality at all. What's wrong is when you have a panel completely regurgitating stuff and twisting it all into something ugly. His reason for nominating Darren for example.
What do they want from him? A 2D character?

Good. Couldn't happen to a nastier man. He deserves to go first tomorrow. Though i think he may just pip daniella and go second.
They can't have their chosen villain come out to cheers which is why John got that edit tonight.

I feel really really sorry for John. He is there to earn money for his mother with dementia. That's his life. That must be on his mind. That's not exactly a picnic.
He is living with histrionic alcohol swilling teenagers and he has been edited to look like a total ****.
I am so angry with the producers .. I suppose they are under 30 themselves.

I can only imagine that there's history between John and someone (or a few) on the production team. I imagine he might be a bit of a perfectionist maybe divaish in his professional life.
Surely it can only be a case of revenge or something .............pretty unforgivable and shameless IMO.

Interesting views from both of you.
I honestly don't get it at all and was rather shocked at how he's been perceived by the panel on BBOTS. Why is he more a villain than for example, Tiff.....or even Gemma? What has he said that's been worse than what Darren said about Tiffany, what Scotty said about Steph......etc. ......
The answer is.....not one thing!
He has been far more supportive than most of the other hms and been there for practically every single one of them when they've needed comfort.
So yes, you both have got a point and worth looking into a bit more.
