Absolutely shocking. I know there are those who think me biased as I really like him - but - come on!!! What a complete and utter stitch up.

He knows the game and at the end of the day, they are all trying their hardest to get some headlines.

That press conference was brutal thb. The second question he was asked was horrible.

Tonights show has been awful and Scotty had an easy time with the press.

I'm with you Penny, I like John and I think he's really suffered. He has the emotional and intellectual capacity to take more from this experience than some, and he seems totally drained and empty.

People will say the producers can only show what the HMs do and say, which is true of course, but the way they choose a few minutes from each 24 hours has to be subjective.

You're biased because you like him.

No on a serious note, yeah I agree, real hatchet job done on John the last few days in particular

He was asked about the same two incidents from the beginning of the show that he was vilified for then. Surely the show has moved on considerably and if that's all they had to rake up they're scraping the barrel.

Well, you may know I like Steph and been a bit critical of John lately, but that was disgusting. Really felt for him.

But that's what you get with, in the words of Angie Bowie, Capitalist Whores

I am not a John supporter...but that was unfair on John tonight.

I have a headache I'm so angry at what they did to John! And it happens all the time on BTOS! I can't imagine how bad my life would have to become where i was being judged by the likes of Louisa!

Why did all the other HMs act the same way as him ? crying to go home "let me out wahhhh"

It was indeed a stitch up.

Played in full the folk who obviously don't like him, asking him questions, yet when someone started defending John, by saying Tiffany overreacted in the David is dead saga, Vanessa shut him down and moved swiftly on.

Also, Stephanie having a moan to Darren and Scotty about John moaning about her in the bedroom, entirely missing the irony that she was doing the very same thing as John did.

Those 2 incidents are his highlights though so I think that's why.

He kept his cool though.

I feel sorry for John - really do. He has been a BB supporter, been on BBOTs and his diary room speech really summoned it up i.e. "we are all puppets" I think that is what he is really angry about as he is well aware of his edit. Even after all that he takes time to offer support to Darren in the bedroom saying we all have our roles in here. I think the whole thing has drained and exhausted him and he will be glad to get home. I went off Vanessa Feltz tonight big time. She was cruel and made it obvious she was no fan of John. As for Louisa she is always cutting to her non favourites and strikes me as thinking she is a cut above. Let's face it. These producers are paying their fees indirectly and they will tow the party line definitely. I think the editing this series has been appalling. What was all that about? Showing yet more housemates conflicts then cut to the diary room and they are all saying they will stay friends. The editing is not consistent, choppy and biased towards showing characters not the real people these housemates are. Have said it on other threads but why didn't they just leave them alone to enjoy their last two days together. My goodness they have earned it. Looking at John's demeanour it's like they have broken his spirit and he looks tired of it all. For goodness sakes. Get a grip BB before you drive someone insane inside that house

Nothing will change my mind about John I hugely respect him.

It was a real stitch up as far I am concerned. Yes, I like him but he was really put through the mill with that "press conference". From a contender to win he is now likely to be first out and he doesn't deserve that because no way is he the worst one in there. Oh well, I shall carry on voting in the hope he comes higher than 6th but I am not sure BB is for me any longer.

I agree.
And yes his spirit is broken.

It's disgusting. I'll keep an eye on the final tomorrow night and I'm done with Big Brother.

It's by far the worst manipulation I've seen on the show. It makes me wonder what else is being manipulated, maybe Darren isn't boring!!

I also suspect Channel 5's chances of getting any decent celebrity will be even lower than normal after watching the complete hatchet job this series. John's a strong character and he's been reduced to a shell, I'm sure he'll be fine when gets back to work next week but it would destroy a lesser person.

That's what I find so sad. He's been there for all of them with pep talks and hugs but now he's just totally deflated.

I think he accepted a while ago that he wasn't gonna win - I'm not even sure that he wanted to - I think he just wanted to enjoy his time.

what a really horrible, spiteful thing to do to him. There really was no need.

Agreed. John wasn't stitched up at all, although I suppose you could say that he stitched himself up. Thought he was so clever, now discovers he isn't. Of course he's huffed and angry.

Stitched up, hook, line and sinker.

Totally out of order imo.

Correct me if I'm wrong, although John was the one to say to Tiffany that she should go out of the house after the David's Dead Saga, weren't the others in full agreement, but he acted as the spokesperson?

If that is correct, why is he and he alone taking the flack for that?
