The difference is that the race row was truly horrible but it was real. It wasn't a situation deliberately contrived by Big Brother to cause conflict. Jade, Jo, and that other one really were nasty racist classist bitches.

After not being content with very publicly humiliating her boyfriend that she professed to love and to want to marry, Stephanie's comment to the effect that now Sam can take someone out for dinner, because he never took her out for dinner, was probably the bitchiest thing I have ever, ever heard in Big Brother, and that's saying something. What an absolute cow! I think we can expect a whole lot more of this kind of immature vindictive nastiness post BB.

Don't think I watched that series at the time, but just watched the clip. I agree - and think if they hadn't sat there laughing, it'd have fizzled out very quickly, she was playing to the two of them more than anything else.
